You don't need to be a qualified coach to volunteer on one of our projects, just enthusiastic and passionate. We aim to tailor our projects to you, to give you a unique coaching opportunity abroad. It is your gap year and we want you to get the most from it, whether you wish to coach mainly the school and community groups with an emphasis on fun, or run skills development sessions with national and club teams.
If you are looking for a new adventure, one that combines travel and sport within a project that makes a difference then Caribbean Coaching is for you! We are an award winning organisation that works to develop sport in the Caribbean by taking volunteer coaches to work in local communities, schools and with national teams.
Our sports projects are perfect for gap years, summer vacations, career breaks and volunteer holidays abroad. We work to develop rugby, football, netball, cricket and tennis on the gorgeous islands of St Lucia and St Vincent. Both offer you a unique tour experience but one that you will never forget.
Volunteering gives you the chance to experience a new culture from a unique point of view. You will be able to immerse yourself and make a real difference to the lives of children in local communities. Sport had the power to change lives and bring communities and people together, and it was Nelson Mandela who said "sport has the power to change the world!". Our projects help to get children active, and we have had many who used to be involved in gangs but are now given a new outlet and social group. We aim for our sessions too be fun and inclusive, making it possible for everyone to take part and enjoy themselves.
