Yesterday saw our Inter-School Rugby Day take place in St Vincent with children from all over the island come together to compete and play.

With nearly 100 children from six schools taking part it showed the amazing work the local coaches and volunteers have been doing.

It was a unique chance for the children to play against other youngsters that they would never have the chance to meet, for example George Town, located over an hour up the Windward Coast had the chance to play Clare Valley, located 40 minutes up the Leeward Coast.

We would like to thank everyone who came together to make the day such a success and look forward to helping arrange another great event in the future.

The swimming project in St Lucia has had a huge boost with the recent partnership and funding from the Ollie Gobat Foundation.

For many who live on the beautiful island of St. Lucia the crystal clear waters surrounding them are a real danger. Many are unable to swim, with the islands few swimming pools being accessible to only the upper classes.

Our swimming project offers children from disadvantaged communities the opportunity to learn this important life lesson. Using the sea, and offering free transportation to and from sessions, we have been able to run daily sessions for children from the Marchard community.

Our most recent volunteer, Megan, has done a fantastic job so far and we are hoping to see the project grow and flourish over the coming months.
